OUR STORY THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PIECES

A shop with a history all its own.

Some antiques have passed through generations. So has this shop.

Before the name Triple J appeared over the door, this was the Antique Emporium, a familiar stop for Odyssey treasure hunters under the ownership of Margaret Faye.

In the late 1990s, Jack and Joanne Allen made the shop their own. Having just begun their life together, they purchased the business, renamed it J & J Antiques, and brought their own unmistakable warmth to its crowded aisles. Jack's love of history and Joanne's gift for making people feel welcome helped make this place more than a collection of old furniture and knickknacks.

When the Allens decided it was time to retire and travel, they entrusted the business to their friend Jason Whittaker. He carried their tradition forward under a new name: Triple J Antiques — a nod to Jack, Joanne and Jason.

Jason at the helm

These days, Jason looks after the shop Jack and Joanne spent so much time building. He appreciates a good mystery, a clever piece of workmanship, and the pleasure of finding just the right object for someone who will treasure it.

"The sign may have changed, but the spirit hasn't. We still believe the best finds are the ones you stumble upon while looking for something else, so whether you're hunting for a specific piece or just passing an hour among the shelves, take your time."
